Our Heavenly Father, as the Christmas season approaches our hearts soften in the g;ow of love that shines so brightly still from the manger of Bethlehem. Cause this blessed influence not only to soften our hearts but to cleanse them in sin and selfishness and to strenghten them for the tasks and duties of this all-important hour. May Christ be born in many hearts that know Him not and be given full place in those hearts that have professed to know him yet have kept Him croweded into a corner. In His name we ask it. Amen.
