Thanksgiving

"In every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving." Philippians 4:6

Our Father, we give thanks we give thanks to Thee for the blessings that come to us during all the days of the year.We thank Thee for the joys that brighten our lives and the sorrows that discipline our spirits. We thank Thee for the friends who have helped us bear the burdens of life and whose faith in us has spurred us on to harder efforts and higher purpose.We thank Thee for the kindly ministries of the church and for the opportunities of service to others that the church offers. And we thank Thee most of all Jesus, our Master and Lord, whose gentle Spirit has led captive our rebellious spirits and whose gospel is our strong hope for time and eternity. In His name. Amen.
